In Greene County district court a judgment was entered Dec. 24 in a case against Brandon Thomas Gobble, 28, of Jefferson after he changed his plea to guilty to a charge of driving while license barred. Gobble was sentenced to two years in prison; the prison term was suspended. He was fined $625 with a $218.75 surcharge. The fine and surcharge were also suspended. Gobble must pay $180 restitution for his court appointed attorney’s fees and $100 court costs. (Sentencing: Honorable Adria A. Kester)
Jacob Eugene Day, 23, of Jefferson pleaded not guilty Dec. 20 to a charge of driving while licence barred-habitual offender. A trial date was set for March 4.
